Craig was named Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Watco Companies, LLC, in 2003. He serves as the chief legal officer of the company and oversees many functions within the company such as insurance and risk management, ethics and business compliance, M&A activity, claims, and various other functions requiring legal management.
Prior to joining Watco, Craig had practiced law for 13 years with the law firm of Wilbert and Towner and was the managing partner the last seven years of his practice at the firm. He is a member of several advisory committees, including the ALMA Member Advisory Council, the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel’s Short Line Advisory Council, and the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association’s General Counsel Committee.
Craig earned his bachelor’s degree with a double major in management and accounting from Mid-America Nazarene College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas where he received the Order of the Coif.
