ABOUT

Located in the west Texas oil-rich Permian Basin, Lubbock and Western Railway (LBWR) is a 163 mile railroad in two segments operating from Lubbock to Seagraves and Whiteface, Texas, and from Plainview to Dimmit, Texas. The short line began operations in July of 2015 and ships commodities such as frac sand, chemicals, fertilizer, grain, animal feed, and oil. The LBWR interchanges with the BNSF and the Union Pacific.
